Facilitative Leadership

This Program brings you participation tools, dynamic theory and ethical principles towards effective and facilitative leadership.

It will help you maximise collaboration towards sustainable outcomes and get the most from your time working in groups.

The Program consists of three strands:

  • A series of intensive modules developing capability in facilitation theory and practice. These should be done sequentially, but you don’t have to sign up for the whole program.
  • On-the-job projects that integrate participants’ facilitation learnings with delivering work results.
  • Mentoring sessions between the modules grounded in planning, delivery and debriefing of the on-the-job projects.

The Program content addresses:

  • ToP™ group facilitation skills — methods and session design structures.
  • Strategic thinking and planning processes
  • Inter-personal and group dynamics with keys to building personal and group capacity.
  • Facilitative leadership tools and models to initiate and lead change.

The Program embodies experiential and action learning through its training process of:

  • Demonstrate the method.
  • Explore the steps and underlying dynamics.
  • Have a go by building a session plan and then running it.
